Things to know before moving to Strand

There is plenty to do in Strand for all the family. Monkey World is a brilliant attraction where visitors can see many different Monkey breeds and get up close and personal with them. As Strand is a coastal town, there is a beautiful beach that can be visited where you can take a dip in the sea or try you hand at some water sports. There is also a trampoline park in Strand called Jump4Fun, which is great for kids and a really fun day out.

There are also some really fantastic restaurants in the Strand area that you need to try. De Brassarie and Ben’s on the beach are both really beautiful restaurants on the beach front with stunning views of the ocean. Rooibos and Vetkoek Paleis are also two really good restaurants found in the area.

Education in Strand

Strand is densely populated with great schools, which makes it a really desirable place to live for families. Laerskool Hendrik Louw and Loreto Primary School are both brilliant primary schools in the Strand town. Hottentots-Holland High School, Crosspoint Academy and False Bay high school are all fantastic secondary schools to choose from. There is also an international school in the area called Helderberg International School.
