Fresnaye is a beautiful residential neighbourhood in Sea Point. The area backs onto the stunning Signal Hills landscape. Houses here are more affordable than in other areas of Sea Point and there is a friendly community vibe between the residents.

Bantry Bay is an affluent neighbourhood in Sea Point, where properties have stunning sea views and sometimes private beaches. Restaurants and bars are just a short walk away from Bantry Bay.

Three Anchor Bay

If you want stunning views, a busy and lively town, but also tranquil walks, then Three Anchor Bay is a great place to live. There are plenty of parks nearby and of course beaches. Residents in this area can benefit from gyms, restaurants and bars all being a stones-throw away.

Things to know before moving to Sea Point

Probably the most famous thing about Sea Point is the scenic Promenade that runs along the front. From end to end it runs about 6 miles long. Take a stroll down here and perhaps stop off at one of the fantastic restaurants or shops overlooking the ocean that you can find along the way. Sea Point has multiple beaches to visit, including Queens beach, Milton beach and Sunset beach. If you love swimming but not too sure about getting in the ocean, then Sea Point Pool is a fantastic public pool with ocean views.

Sea Point has some fantastic restaurants, a lot of which have sea views. Rockpool Cape Town, Mochachos and Syriana are all highly rated restaurants in the area to try out.

Education in Sea Point

There are some great schools in the Sea Point area. Ellerton Primary School, Sea Point Primary School and Herzlia Weizmann Primary School are all fantastic schools for younger children. For secondary schools there are Sea Point High School and Anthony Harris Tennis Academy.
