When you move into your new home, Anglian Water recommends you run the kitchen tap for 5 minutes before drinking the water or using it for food preparation. Sometimes when the water hasn’t been used for a while, it can have a musty smell and taste. This is normal, but if it’s still unpleasant after running for 5 minutes, please call them on 03457 145 145 or get advice via their portal on water quality.
PLUS: Anglian Water provides handy welcome leaflets for both properties with a water meter and without a water meter.
3. MOVING OUT OF THE ANGLIAN WATER REGION
When moving away, you can notify Anglian Water via your online account portal if you like. And then you can check who your new supplier will be on the Water Uk website.
