South Glamorgan was formed in 1974 and is a preserved county of Wales. There are a few towns situated within South Glamorgan such as Barry, Cardiff, Cowbridge, Llantwit Major, Llandow and Ogmore by Sea.
Forming part of the South of Wales, South Glamorgan boasts National Parks, beautiful beaches and countryside. South Glamorgan is also a part of The Vale of Glamorgan, which extends along the Bristol Channel. The coast of this area of most filled with cliffs and rocks but there are long stretches and sandy beaches and dunes as well.
South Glamorgan has a bustling economy, with lots of shops, such as Tesco’s and ASDA, and also has larger amenities close by such as Cardiff city center where you will find many international stores and boutiques as well as some amazing eateries and pubs.
