Llantrisant dates back hundreds and hundreds of years ago, and has a rich culture of tradition and architecture. There is only one wall remaining of the Llantrisant Castle, however the 15th Century Tower of the Church of The Three Saints is still intact and open for visitors today.
An interesting fact about Llantrisant is that the Royal Mint moved from London to Llantrisant in 1967, where all British coins are manufactured. There is also a Mint Museum where you can view all the coins and how they have changed over the years.
The town of Llantrisant has a variety of independent vendors and small businesses, and lots of quaint little shops, delis and pubs to explore and enjoy a bite to eat at.
