Haslemere is a town found in Surrey, north-east of the tripoint with Hampshire and West Sussex. It is the most southernly town of Surrey and is 12 miles south-west of Guildford. The town has a newer Shottermill part, which is found west of its station, so it now has two hubs of services, retail and high street leisure.
Haslemere is a popular town for commuters as there are trains to London Waterloo in just under an hour. You can also get to Portsmouth by train in around 40 minutes. The A3 can get you to both London and some southern towns, such as Portsmouth and Southampton. Both Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport are just under an hour away, so for those who travel abroad, be it for work or for leisure, this is very useful.
