Weymouth is a seaside town found in the county of Dorset. It is sheltered at the mouth of the River Wey. Weymouth has a population of around 53,068 and is the third largest settlement in Dorset. Weymouth attracts tourists from all over the country because of the beautiful harbour and Jurassic Coast. Weymouth Harbour is home to a commercial fishing fleet, pleasure boats and private yachts.
Weymouth has its own train station with 1 or 2 trains every hour to London. It takes around two and a half hours to reach the capital, with most of these trains stopping at Dorchester, Poole, Southampton, Bournemouth, and Winchester. There are plenty of buses heading into nearby towns and further out to major cities such as London, Manchester, and Liverpool.
