Wareham is a historic market town found in the county of Dorset. It is situated on the River Frome and is eight miles away from Poole. Wareham is a beautiful riverside town, close to the Jurassic Coast. The villages of Wool, Moreton and West Lulworth are only a short distance away. There was a Roman settlement where Wareham is now. It is thought that they used to take advantage of the various rivers in the area for transport.
From Wareham you can be in London in around three hours by car or two and a half hours by train. Wareham has its own train station and connects the town to London and other surrounding towns including Weymouth, Poole, and Bournemouth.
